How a project runs
Every project is assigned a producer who owns it from the first call through final delivery. That producer handles scoping, scheduling, location and venue logistics, the call sheet, the crew, and the review rounds. You are never handed off mid project or left chasing an account manager for an answer.
Pre production is where most of the risk gets removed. We lock the message, the interview questions, the shot list and the venue requirements before anyone shows up with a camera, which is what keeps shoot days calm and on schedule.
On shoot day the crew arrives early, builds the lighting and audio before your people are pulled away from their desks, and works to a schedule that respects the fact that your executives have a day job. In post you get a first cut, then structured revision rounds with consolidated feedback rather than an open ended back and forth.
Chris Cruz, Founder
8 Media Group was founded by Chris Cruz, who spent years shooting in rooms most crews never get into. At the Woodrow Wilson Center he filmed heads of state, ambassadors and senior policy figures, where there is one take, no second setup and no room to be precious about it.
That standard is what the company was built on and it still sets the bar for how we staff, prep and run a production. Chris leads creative direction and the client relationships, and the team carries the work from pre production through delivery.
