8 Media Group was hired by Visit Alexandria to highlight the charming neighboring city as DC’s best kept travel secret. Alexandria is another state away from DC but it is just a 10 minute drive, a metro ride, OR water taxi ride from DC. Old Town Alexandria encompasses historic charm mixed with tons of great restaurants and shopping. Visitors can also take advantage of lower hotel rates while still having alot to do in the immediate area steps outside of their hotel. We could go on and on writing about how great Old Town Alexandria is but we were tasked with the job to show it.
8 Media Group and Visit Alexandria took to the streets in a fun filled shoot of capturing the historic charm of King Street, shopping at the many unique retailers, and enjoying a meal at the numerous restaurants. We also ventured into DC to show the close proximity to the capitol city.
